Puri Jagannadh completes 21 years in the Telugu film industry today on 20th April. Puri Jagannadh has come a long way since his directorial debut Badri, which also marked Amisha Patel and Renu Desai‘s debut in Telugu Film industry. Twenty one years ago, the film Badri starring Pawan Kalyan and Renu Desai made a staggering amount at the box office, making it one of the blockbuster hits of the year.
The action drama Badri was Puri Jagannadh’ debut film, and in just couple of years, Puri Jagannadh managed to make a unique place for himself in the Telugu film industry. Puri Jagannadh’ mark dialogue Nuv Nanda Ayithe Nakenti Nenu Badri… Badrinath- we can’t forget forever. There are numerous such dialogues in the film.
In Badri, Power star Pawan Kalyan played the role of an ad agency director whose girlfriend accuses of him for not loving her sincerely challenges him to make a woman for falling in love with him. However, their lives take a turn when that a girl falls madly in love with him. Pawan kalyan won our hearts with his comic timing and perfect mannerisms of a daring and dashing hero.
On the otherside, Pawan Kalyan was last seen playing the lead role in court room drama Vakeel Saab, which is running successfully at the box office.
