Recently on the auspicious occasion of Ugadi, the title of Nandamuri Balakrishna’ upcoming action drama with director Boyapati Srinu was revealed. The film is titled ‘Akhanda’ and A 1 minute teaser was also unveiled much to the delight of fans that featured Balakrishna his flamboyant avatar as an Aghori and stole the show with his roaring screen presence and powerful dialogue.
Balayya Babu was seen performing action sequence in Lord Shiva’s temple under the rocks. According to the latest report, the Team Akhanda is currently shooting a high voltage action sequence in the Vikarabad Forests , and Balakrishna is fighting it out with popular hero Srikanth in this ongoing schedule.
Srikanth is playing the main antagonist in Akhanda which is being helmed by Boyapati Srinu. This latest schedule will last for the fifteen days and the major part of the shoot will be wrapped up in this schedule. The sources say that Balakrishna worked out and toned down his body for the dual avatar in Akhanda.
Pragya Jaiswal is playing the female lead whereas Poorna is playing the crucial role in Akhanda which is being bankrolled by Miriyala Ravinder Reddy. Balakrishna and Boyapati Srinu’ Akhanda is slated to hit the theaters on 28th May.
