It is known news that megastar Chiranjeevi will play the lead role in an upcoming Telugu film which is a remake of Malayalam hit Lucifer. After names of numerous directors, including VV Vinayak and Saaho fame Sujeeth doing rounds, it is Mohan Raja who has taken up the charge for helming this remake.
The director Mohan Raja who is known for the Tamil remake of Jayam and Telugu movie Hanuman Junction is going to work with Chiru. According to the latest report, the regular shoot of Lucifer remake will commence from the month of May and the makers are considering the title King Maker for Chiranjeevi starrer.
The sources say that Lucifer remake is a political drama and the makers are considering King Maker as the title but nothing is yet finalized. Veteran producer NV Prasad in association with Konidela Production Company are the producers of this big budget movie, which is currently in pre production stage and also has Satya Dev in the crucial roles. The rest of the cast and crew of King Maker are yet to be announced.
On the otherside, currently Chiru is busy in social message oriented drama Acharya which is helmed by Koratala Siva and is on the verge of completion.
