Kannada actress and ex Bigg Boss 7 Contestant Chaitra Kotturu attempted suicide by devouring phenyl at her home in Kolar. Soon after the incident, she was rushed to a local hospital where her condition is stated to be stable. The sources say that her condition is supposed to be fine now.
According to the police report, Chaitra Kotturu was married to Mandya-based businessman Nagarjuna a few days back, but her marriage was soon called off after the businessman’s family refused to accept her by terming the marriage as “invalid”, while of late Nagarjuna himself has alleged that he was being forced by the some groups to marry her even though he was not interested in the wedlock.
On 28th March, a pic of Chaitra Kotturu tying the knot with Nagarjuna at a temple had gone viral, among other pictures of the wedding . The police said that she was in a relationship with Nagarjuna for the past couple of years. The police added that she had accused Nagarjuna of constantly delaying the marriage. Later they decided to tie the knot with the support of leaders.
Chaitra said to police that Nagarjuna’ family had bad mouthed her, her job and even issued death threats to her if she did not let him go.
