Mahabharat actor Satish Kaul had been battling coronavirus infection for the past few days and  he died of Covid-19 in Ludhiana on Saturday. Satish Kaul was 75 years old. Apart from TV show BR Chopra’s Mahabharat, he was also the part of few Hindi and Punjabi movies.

Satya Devi, who was looking after Satish Kaul, said he was battling coronavirus infection and his condition deteriorated and he passed away at 2 pm. In Mahabharat, Satish played the role of Lord Indra. Satya Devi said that Satish Kaul died today morning at the hospital. He had fever and wasn’t keeping well. He was admitted to the hospital on Thursday and  after testing she came to know that he was Covid-19 positive

He had sold his apartment in Mumbai in  the year 2011 and opened an acting school in Ludhiana but the project failed and drove him into the financial losses. Satish was forced to shift to an old age home at Doraha.

In the year  2014, Punjabi University, Patiala, offered Satish Kaul a job at its acting school where he was offered a monthly pension of Rs 11,000 for three years.  He is known for acting in  Pyaar Toh Hona Hi Tha, Aunty No 1 and the Television show Vikram Aur Betaal.
