The upcoming project Sarkaru Vaari Paata marks the maiden collaboration of director Parasuram and Mahesh Babu, who will be sharing screen space with the National award winning actress Keerthy Suresh for the first time. It was rumored that Anil Kapoor has been approached with the offer to play the antagonist but there is no update regarding his inclusion in Mahesh Babu and Keerthi Suresh starrer. Few days ago Mahesh Babu resumed the shoot of Sarkaru Vaari Patta, which was progressing at the brisk pace in the outskirts of Hyderabad. Now according to the latest update, the shoot of Sarkaru Vaari Paata has been halted after the five unit members are tested positive for coronavirus.
The sources say that upset, Mahesh Babu asked the makers to postpone the shoot of the film as the few unit members tested positive for the coronavirus. The shoot of Parasuram’ directorial venture will resume once normalcy returns.
Sarkaru Vaari Paata which is based on bank scam, is jointly bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainment and it is slated to hit the theaters on the occasion of Sankranthi 2022.
Mahesh Babu was last seen in Anil Ravipudi’ directorial venture Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was a box-office blockbuster. The film earned over Rs 200 crore at the box office.
