We have already reported that Salman Khan has been brought on board to play the important role in an upcoming Telugu big budget movie Godfather in which megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the lead role. Finally today morning the makers of Godfather officially announced the inclusion of Salman Khan and the team welcomed the India’ Most Favourite Bhai.
Bollywood star Salman Khan who has done several Telugu remakes and dubbed his movies into Telugu and now he is all set to act in a direct Telugu film for the first time and he will share the screen space with none other than Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi. He is shooting with Chiru from today in Mumbai in a special set erected in the Mumbai Suburbans.
The sources close to the makers revealed that Salman Khan will be reprising the role of Prithviraj Sukumaran character in the Telugu remake while Chiranjeevi is essaying Mohanlal’ character from the Original. Lady Superstar Nayanthara is playing the female lead. The movie also has Harish Uthaman, Satyadev Kancharana, Sachin Khedekar, Nassar and others in the supporting roles.
The big budget action drama Godfather has cinematography by Nirav Shah, whereas the music is by Thaman.
The political action thriller is directed by Mohan Raja and is jointly produced by Konidela Production Company, Jayam Company and NVR Cinema LLP.
