Ghani Box Office Collections: Mega Prince Varun Tej came up with a sport based drama Ghani which was released last Friday and received the mixed response by the movie lovers and the critics on its opening day. The collections of the Ghani are also not satisfactory. The boxing drama of Varun Tej grossed just about 100k dollars in the entire first weekend.

Ghani’ weekend gross is the lowest ever opening in Varun Tej’ career in the last 5 years. Despite the ‘RRR’ storm, the makers of Varun Tej and Saiee Manjrekar film took the gamble to release the movie in cinema halls. Ghani is written and directed by Kiran Korrapati and is funded by icon star Allu Arjun’s brother Allu Bobby Company. It is made on the whopping budget of Rs 30 crores and it marks the debut of Saiee Manjrekar in Telugu Film Industry. The boxing drama stars Varun Tej playing the title character Ghani.
Apart from the lead actors, Ghani also has Suniel Shetty, Upendra, Jagapathi Babu, and Naveen Chandra in the important roles. Marthand K Venkatesh is the editor and the music is scored by Butta Bomma fame Thaman.
