KGF 2 Crosses Rs 1,000 Cr gross mark , First Kannada film to clock four digit number

KGF 2 Box office Collections: Yash and Prashanth Neel’ film KGF 2 zooms past the Rs 1000 crore club at the global box office. Yash and Srinidhi Shetty  starrer becomes the fourth Indian film after Dangal, Bahubali 2, and RRR to attain this feat.  KGF 2 is  the first ever film of Kannada origin to clock four digit numbers.

Yash starrer KGF – Chapter 2 was released on 14th April and it is  dominating at the box office. After opening on a thunderous note, the film, which was well received, by the audience and the critics alike has established new benchmark records. Now, despite new releases hitting the silver screens  the action thriller drama KGF – Chapter 2 which still remains as the audiences’ first choice in theatres has managed to enter the Rs 1000 cr club.

Yash starrer which also has Srinidhi Shetty, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt, continues to run in theatres even with the three new releases  Acharya, Heropanti 2 and Runway 34 hit the screens.  The traders are predicting that  Yash starrer will continue to dominate at the box office.

After  Rajamouli’ movies- RRR and Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2 came in third on the list of films with the highest opening in India.
