Telangana IT and Industries Ministe KTR and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy met and exchanged emotional greetings at the 52nd World Economic Forum meeting in Davos. KTR who is an active user of the social media took to his twitter and shared a pic of him with YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and captioned it: Had a great meeting with my brother AP CM YS Jagan Garu.
Andhra Pradesh and Telangana competed for investments from global firms during the 52nd World Economic Forum (WEF) meeting in Davos, Switzerland. Following the meeting, KTR and Jagan Mohan Reddy met and exchanged emotional greetings.
At Davos, CM Jagan advocates for investments in commerce and technology for Andhra Pradesh. Telangana struck it rich on day first of the World Economic Forum Summit at Davos, Switzerland, with KTR luring investments worth Rs 600 cr, and commitments for setting up offices of Swiss Re, a Switzerland based insurance company, and Meesho, an e-commerce company.
The largest investment commitment came from the Lulu Group which said it would invest Rs 500 crore in Telangana in the food processing sector. On behalf of the Telangana government, KTR handed over the necessary permission documents to the Lulu Group head Yusuf Ali for the food processing unit to be set up by the company. Yusuf Ali said besides this investment, they also had plans of setting up another unit in the food processing sector.
