Adhugo, a comedy entertainer movie starring Ravi Babu, Nabha Natesh and Abhishek Varma, directed by Ravi Babu and produced by D Suresh Babu, has hit the theaters today on 7th November on the occasion of Diwali. Let’s see the storyline:

Adhugo story: Adhugo is all about the story of a pink piglet Bunty and how all the characters are connected to it. Abhishek and Nabha Natesh are lovers. A twist in the tale when  few bad guys try to kidnap the piglet, which has a special secret associated with it. Rest of the story is about how all the characters come across one another while searching for Piglet and how Bunty is rescued.

 Plus Points:

  • Animation quality

 Minus Points:

  • Story
  • Comedy
  • Screenplay
  • Lack of twists and turns

Performance: For the first time, we saw a Telugu movie which has a piglet as its lead protagonist. Bunty, the piglet comes up with a lot of funny antics in the film. Veteran hero Rajendra Prasad  has lends his voice to a piglet. Ravi Babu has delivered his best. Nabha Natesh and Abhishek Varma are good in the role of lovers.

Technical:  There is nothing special in the storyline of Adhugo.  The Editing could have been far better as there are many drags which irritated the viewers slowing the pace of the film. Director Ravi Babu should have added few more twists and turns for better results. Production values are good.

Analysis:  Ravi Babu came with few good scenes, most of them he fell flat with insipid narration. One gets a feeling that half way through the project he lost interest. He came with a routine story and failed with his screenplay and direction which turned out to be listless.
