A backup dancer named Saravanan working on Ajith starrer Viswasam died after falling ill during the shoot and according to the latest update, Ajith went out of his way to help the dancer’s family.
The shooting of upcoming movie Viswasam starring Thala Ajith is currently underway in Pune. The shoot of entire talkies part has been already wrapped up. The makers were canning a song, when untoward incident took place at the shooting spot and as expected, Ajith rushed to the scene and went out of his way to help the dancer.
The sources close to the film unit reveal that a backup dancer Saravanan complained of illness and she asked the makers to halt the shoot. He was vomiting and was rushed to a private hospital nearby but unfortunately, he passed away while the doctors were running tests on him. When Thala Ajith came to know about this tragedy, he rushed to the hospital and stayed there for nearly three hours. Ajith spoke to the family of Saravanan and said that he would get his body to Chennai as soon as possible. He made arrangements for the body to be flown over to his hometown.
Saravanan’s mortal remains were brought from Pune to Mumbai and later reached Chennai. Ajith offered his condolences. The Viswasam team was thankful to Ajith’s gesture. This is not the first time Ajith had helped someone working for him. Earlier on several occasions. He extended his support for the people to those in need.
Viswasam is being directed by Siva, in which lady superstar Nayantara is playing the female lead. Apart from Ajith and Nayantara, the film has other stars like Vivek, Robo Shankar, Bose Venkat, Sujatha Sivakumar, Thambi Ramaiah, Kovai Sarala, Sandhya Janak, Yogi Babu, Kalairani, Ramesh Thilak, Jangiri Madhumitha and Namo Narayana in supporting role.
