Rakul Preet Singh started her career as a model while in college, during which she also made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gilli in 2009. In 2011 she participated in the Femina Miss India pageant, in which she was placed 5th and she won five pageant titles including People’s Choice Miss Indiatimes, Pantaloons Femina Miss Fresh Face, Femina Miss Talented, Femina Miss Beautiful Smile and Femina Miss Beautiful Eyes.
Rakul Preet Singh made her Telugu debut with Keratam in 2011 and Tamil debut with Thadaiyara Thaakka, in 2012. In 2014 the beautiful actress also made her Bollywood debut in Yaariyan in which her performance was better received.
Rakul Preet Singh is one of the actress, who has worked number of top stars of Telugu film Industry such as Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR, Ravi Teja, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and others.
On the work-side, Rakul Preet Singh will be next seen in upcoming movie NTR biopic, where she is essaying the role of late actress Sridevi. The film is being helmed by Krish in which Nandamuri Balakrishna is playing the titular role. Rakul Preet Singh has also approached to play the female lead in Akkineni Naga Chaitanya starrer upcoming movie Venky Mama.
In Bollywood, Rakul Preet Singh will be seen sharing the screen space with Ajay Devgn in De De Pyaar De. She will also be seen in R. Ravikumar’s directorial venture, which is currently in pre-production stage.
