The Choreographer and actress Gayathri Raghuram faced a lot of backlash after her stint in the controversial reality show Bigg Boss Tamil season 1. Now once again she is in the news headline for all the wrong reasons.
According to the latest update, the traffic police stopped Gayathri Raghuram’s vehicle near Sathya Studio, Adyar on Saturday. When she was asked to take the breath test, Gayathri Raghuram had confessed that she is under the influence of alcohol and the test proved positive as well.
The sources say that Gayathri Raghuram attended a party on Saturday night, which was organised for film personalities at a star hotel in MRC Nagar. After spotting her on the road, many people started to take her photos and videos. It is said that she had requested the police to drop her at home and seize the car.
Later, a constable drove Gayathri Raghuram to her house in Adyar and seized her vehicle. She has been booked under Section 185 (driving by a drunken person or by a person under the influence of drugs) of Motor Vehicles Act and also for rash driving.
On the otherside, Gayathri Raghuram took to Twitter to share her side of the story. She said that media is targeting her. She wrote on her Twitter, “The one who created this fake news he was press reporter who was caught drunk and driving. I finished my shoot and was dropping my co star at home. I was stopped for normal checking. No such incident fighting with a cop ball press reporter ended up writing whatever came in mind.”
Gayathri Raghuram made her film debut with Charlie Chaplin and her popular movies are Style, Whistle and Vai Raja Vai.
