Rajinikanth surprising support for Sarkar

Rajinikanth surprising support for SarkarRajinikanth, the Kollywood superstar surprised everyone as  he came in the support of Vijay and Keerthy Suresh starrer Sarkar. After facing many hurdles, AR Murugadoss’s directorial venture ‘Sarkar‘ hit the theaters on Tuesday on the occasion of Diwali.

Since the release of Sarkar, many AIADMK ministers and party cadres have expressed their displeasure about few scenes in this political drama Sarkar. They also went on to protest outside various theatres in Tamil Nadu.  They also damaged the banners of the film and cut-outs of Vijay. On the otherside, Rajinikanth has come in the support of Sarkar and he has strongly condemned these actions. He took to Twitter and lashed out at the people who are protesting and demanding the removal of some controversial scenes.

Rajinikanth wrote on Twitter in Tamil, his tweet reads, “The censor board, after censoring the film and certifying it, to protest for the removal of certain scenes from the movie, to stop from the film from being screened and destroying the film banner, is against the law. I strongly condemn this act.”

Rajinikanth’s tweet is receiving overwhelming responses. His tweet comes as a boost to the Sarkar team, which is facing the heat from the ruling party to remove some controversial scenes. Rajinikanth condemned unlawful acts such as damaging Vijay starrer Sarkar’s banners and demanding the removal of certain scenes from the film.

On Thursday, versatile actor and politican Kamal Haasan had also strongly objected the actions of AIADMK government regarding the issue. Kamal Haasan wrote on the wall of his Twitter, “It isn’t new for this government to act and pressurize against a film like Sarkar, which has completed its censor formalities properly. A government that can’t face criticism can go off the tangent. Commercialised politicians will soon be vanished and the good people would win.” According to the latest buzz,  Sarkar team has agreed to mute scenes that have been termed controversial.
