Rashmika Mandanna who has already won millions of hearts with her performance in recently released romantic and comedy entertainer Geetha Govindam, where she shared the screen space with Arjun Reddy and Pelli Choopulu fame Vijay Devarakonda, has to confirm her romance with Superstar Mahesh Babu for Sukumar’s directorial venture, which will be bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Sukumar is planning to rope Rashmika Mandanna to play the female lead. Though the name of Kiara Advani is also doing round but as she has already shared the screen space with Mahesh Babu in Koratala Siva’s directorial venture Bharat Ane Nenu, Sukumar is willing to rope Rashmika Mandanna. If everything will go accordingly, very soon official announcement will be made regarding it. The movie is expected to go on the floor in 2019. As of now, Sukumar is busy penning the script for the film.
After delivering successful movie Bharat Ane Nenu, Mahesh Babu joined the sets of his next upcoming movie Maharshi, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Oopiri fame Vamsi Paidipally. Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava and Saakshyam fame Pooja Hegde is playing the female lead and Allari Naresh will be seen in pivotal role. After wrapping up the shoot of Maharshi, Mahesh Babu will start the work of Sukumar’s directorial venture.
Sukumar’s previous offering Rangasthalam starring Ram Charan and Samantha Akkineni was blockbuster at the box office and once again he is planning to deliver a hit movie with Mahesh Babu.
Rashmika Mandanna made her Telugu debut with romantic drama Chalo in 2018, the film went on to become a major commercial hit at box office.
On the other-side, currently Rashmika Mandanna is romancing with Vijay Devarakonda in Dear Comrade. She is also waiting for the release of Kannada movie Yajamana, which is in post-production stage.
