Once again the audiences are going to watch her dance in her upcoming movie Maari 2. Recently the director Balaji Mohan, shared few stills on his twitter and captioned it, “#AraathuAanandhi, @Sai_Pallavi92 #Maari2.” Coming on the poster, Sai Pallavi is seen dancing. Her dancing pose is grabbing the attention of everyone.
No wonder this Kollywood beauty is quite popular among the youth. She broke all conventions with her acting and appearance and made it seem possible that a film heroine need not be all weepy and always be the damsel in distress. Hailing from Kottagiri of Neelagiri district in Tamil Nadu, Sai Pallavi is a doctor. The Maari 2 team is promoting the film aggressively and recently the makers released the first look poster of Dhanush and Sai Pallavi. On Wednesday evening, director Balaji Mohan revealed the first look of Sai Pallavi’s character from the film – Araathu Aanandhi. ‘Araathu’ means someone who’s a bit of a ‘rowdy’ in behaviour. Balaji Mohan wrote on Twitter, “Here’s the first of the #Maari2CharacterPosters!@Sai_Pallavi92 as #AraathuAanandhi !
A fun character that’s also right at the heart of the story of #Maari2.”
Maari 2 will be Sai Pallavi’s second release in Tamil. She made her debut in the industry with horror film Diya, helmed by AL Vijay. The movie was bombed at the box office. Despite the flop, Sai Pallavi remains tremendously popular in Tamil Nadu.
