Sarkar Collections: Sarkar, the political drama, starring Vijay, Keerthy Suresh, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Yogi Babu and Radha Ravi is winning the hearts of audiences. According to the traders report, Sarkar has collected Rs 4.34 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu states- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The area-wise break up are as follows:

Sarkar is directed by AR Murugadoss and is bankrolled by Sun Pictures. The film has the music by double Oscar award winning music composer AR Rahman.
Vijay starrer Sarkar was released in over 3000 screens around the world on Tuesday. Cashing on the festive season, Sarkar is expected to break records. The source close to director AR Murugadoss said, “The political drama Sarkar surpassed the day one collection of Baahubali 2 in the state. And we’re expecting Sarkar to be the highest Tamil grosser.” The movie has broken many records on the box office on its opening day. It has not only conquered SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2, but has also created several new records in India and abroad as well.
Film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh has said that Vijay starrer Sarkar has managed to receive one of the biggest starts by an Indian film in Australia. It has also made it to the top three Tamil movies in America.
Sarkar is all about is about the story of NRI corporate who comes to India to cast his vote, but he gets a shock after coming to know that someone has already cast his vote on his behalf. Later he decides to enter into the politics.
