Akash Puri is well known as a  child artist and son of dashing director Puri Jagannadh in Tollywood. He turned over as a complete actor with the film Mehbooba under the direction of his father Puri Jagannadh. Even though it was failed at box office, it had been shown the capabilities of Akash Puri as an actor. After a small gap, now he is coming up with another project.

His upcoming project is entitled as Vasco Di Gama where Vasco is the screen name of Akash Puri. It is an out and out gangster love story which is  going to be directed by debutant director Anil Panduri. The official announcement regarding this project will be made on 11th February.

 Hope this time Akash Puri will score an hit under the production of his father Puri Jagganadh..
