Mahesh Babu makes Adivi Sesh Hero of Mumbai Attack – Major

Recently we have reported that Kshanam and Goodachari fame Adivi Sesh has joined his hands with Superstar Mahesh Babu. Now Adivi Sesh’s upcoming film has been announced. The day has come! The movie has been titled ‘Major’. What’s more interesting is that none other than Prince of Tollywood, Mahesh Babu will be co-producing this film on his banner along with Sony Pictures International Productions. Major will be directed by Sasi Kiran Thikka

Adivi Sesh will be seen essaying the role of Major Unnikrishnan who lost his life while saving the public in the 26/11 attacks that rocked Mumbai. It is a bilingual movie, which will be made in Hindi and Telugu.

Mahesh Babu took to his Twitter and made official announcement about Adivi Sesh’s  project, he wrote, “Honoured to bring you the story of our National hero – Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan… Sending my best wishes to @AdiviSesh, director @sashikirantikka, team @GMBents, @AplusSMovies… & Congratulations @SonyPicsIndia on your debut Telugu production #MajorTheFilm .”Major will be an inspiring tale of valour and sacrifice of the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, the hero of the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

 Adivi Sesh also wrote on Twitter, “Told you I had MAJOR news! 6 reasons why #MajorTheFilm is my dream project! – Based on the Life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, A Real life Hero of 26/11 – SUPERSTAR @urstrulyMahesh producing my film! Pinching myself – @SonyPicsIndia producing, taking us International level :)”

Adivi Sesh again wrote, “- Hindi Telugu bilingual of A National Hero’s story – My dear friends @AplusSMovies producing ! – Reuniting with my Goodachari director @sashikirantikka , just a couple of Telugu Boys making our Bollywood debut.”

 On this occasion, Namrata, the wife of Mahesh Babu said, “Mahesh Babu and I have envisioned GMB to bring stories that resonate globally. We are excited to tell such a unique and original tale about the life of a national hero. “
