The police have asked Allu Sirish and Pooja Hegde to appear before the investigation office within a week’s time to explain their endorsement/involvement with QNet. If the recipients do not appear before the investigation officer within the said time, police said that appropriate legal action would be taken against them.
The several victims of QNet alleged that a large number of innocent people have been duped because celebrities like Allu Sirish, Pooja Hegde, Shahrukh Khan and other were promoting QNet.
The celebrities have been issued notices with regard to QNet Same which is a multi-level marketing company, deals in India via its franchise Vihaan Direct Selling. In 2014, snooker champion Michael Ferreira had also come under the scanner due to his involvement with QNet scam.
QNet is a multi-level marketing company which run into many controversies since it started business in India. The Supreme Court had also issued a notice to Cyberabad Police after they plead against QNet for not following orders on 24th February.
On the workside, Allu Sirish will be next seen in upcoming movie ABCD remake whereas Pooja Hegde is busy in her upcoming movie Maharshi, in which Mahesh Babu is playing the lead role. The movie is scheduled to hit the theaters on 25th April.
