Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy is directed by Surender Reddy and is bankrolled by Ram Charan under the banner of Konidela Productions. Bollywood composer Amit Trivedi is rendering the tune. Megastar Chiranjeevi is playing the role of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy. Sye Raa is all about the story of a rebellion leader from Rayalaseema who fights against the British in 1846, more than a decade before the sepoy mutiny took place in Meerut.
In Tollywood, Jagapathi Babu was last seen in Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava starring Jr NTR and Pooja Hegde, which was directed by Trivikram Srinivas. He essayed the role of Basi Reddy.
The team of Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy started the shooting in December, last year. The release date of the film hasn’t been announced yet. Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan will also be seen in an important role in the film.
Currently Jagapathi Babu has multiple movie in his Kitty. Apart from Sye Raa Narasihma Reddy, Jagapathi Babu will be seen in Uppi Rupee and Madhuraraja, which are in different production stages.
