Kona Venkat took to his Twitter and wrote, “Official announcement regarding the Tamil version of our film with Madhavan, Anushka, Anjali, Shalini Pandey, Subbaraju etc.. will come soon.. shooting begins from March Nothing is official till then. @peoplemediafcy @KonaFilmCorp.”
Kollywood actor Madhavan will play the lead role in Anushka Shetty starrer whereas Silence has two other actresses Anjali and Shalini Pandey in female leads. It has also come out that the makers have roped Baahubali star Rana Daggubati to play cameo in Silence. The fans are thrilled to see Anushka and Rana sharing the screen space with each other again after Baahubali. But Kona Venkat has not confirmed the news about the presence of Rana Daggubati in Silence till date, though he revealed that Madhavan, Anushka Shetty, Anjali, Shalini Pandey and Subbaraju are the part of his movie.
Hemanth Madhukar is directing the movie. He has earlier directed movies like A Flat, Vastadu Naa Raju and Mumbai 125 KM. It is heard that Anushka Shetty will be seen playing the role of a person who cannot speak.
Anushka Shetty starrer Silence will be bankrolled by Kona Venkat and People Media Factory’s TG Vishwaprasad jointly. The movie will also feature noted Hollywood star Michael Madsen.
