Jai Lava Kusa fame KS Ravindra alias Bobby is on the board to direct the movie Venky Mama and noted writer Kona Venkat is penning dialogues for this family entertainer. Kona Film Corp and People Media Factory banners will jointly produce the film. The makers have brought two actresses Rakul Preet Singh and Shriya Saran on the board to play the female leads. Rakul Preet Singh is paired with Naga Chaitanya whereas Shriya Saran will be seen essaying the role of Venkatesh’s wife.
There are big expectations on this film Venky Mama as it will bring together the real life uncle – nephew (Venkatesh and Naga Chaitanya, on the silver screen for the first time. Sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad has been roped in to compose tunes for Venky Mama and Prasad Murella will be cranking the camera.
Meanwhile, Venkatesh is basking in glory over the success of his latest release F2: Fun and Frustration. Victory Venkatesh and Mega Prince Varun Tej played the heroes in this flick which had Tamannah Bhatia and Mehreen Kaur Pirzada as their female leads. F2 is bankrolled by ace producer Dil Raju under his banner Sri Venkateswara Creations.
On the other side, after delivering back to back commercially flop movies- Savyasachi and Shailaja Reddy Alludu, Akkineni Naga Chaitanya is currently busy in his upcoming romantic entertainer Majili, in which Samantha is playing the female lead.
