Nani Jersey in full demand

Natural Star Nani is pinning lot of hopes on his upcoming sport based drama jersey. According to the latest reports, Jersey will be set in a different time period. Sources say that it will begin on the year 1986 and end in 1996. What happens during this decade forms the crux of Jersey and Natural Star Nani will be seen appearing in three different get-ups- a young guy, a middle aged man and an old man. The insider says that the team of Jersey is very happy with the output and they are expecting that Jersey will touch Rs 50 Cr marks at the box office.   Recently released teaser and single have already generated good buzz among the movie lovers. In fact, with the positive buzz on Jersey, demand is huge for the theatrical and other rights.

 

Earlier in an interview, Nani had expressed his desire to act in sport based drama on lines of Aamir Khan starrer Dangal and finally his wish is fulfilling with Jersey, in which he will be seen playing a cricketer. The music Composer Anirudh Ravichander, who made his debut in Tollywood with Pawan Kalyan starrer Agnyathavasi , directed by Trivikram Srinivas, is composing music for Jersey.

Jersey is directed by  Gowtam Tinnanuri  and produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi under the banner of Sithara Entertainments, which had produced Naga Chaitanya’s Premam and Venkatesh Babu’s Bangaram as well. U Turn fame Shraddha Srinath is playing the female lead.

There were reports that Heart Attack girl Adah Sharma will be seen shaking her leg  for an item number in the Nani starrer Jersey. However, she has clarified that it is not true. In her tweet, Adah Sharma wrote, “Guys! not true! I usually let false news die down but been getting so many messages so thought I would clear it out. I’m not doing a special song in a film as of now (sic).”
