The production house Mythri Movie Makers have confirmed the news by releasing the poster on Twitter and they wrote, “Nani24TitleReveal tomorrow at 5 PM @NameisNani @Vikram_K_Kumar.”
The makers have rope Mollywood actress Priya Arulmohan to play the female lead in Nani starrer and the upcoming film will mark her Telugu debut. The source close to the film unit reveal that Nani will be seen playing the role a young person and an old one. Kollywood sensational music composer Anirudh Ravichander will render the tune. The film will hit screens in the latter half of this year.
This is the first time, Nani and Vikram Kumar are working together for a project.
Vikram Kumar’s last film release was the Akhil Akkineni starrer romantic entertainer Hello. The film was bankrolled by Akhil’s father Akkineni Nagarjuna under his banner Annapurna Studios. Anup Rubens had composed music for this venture. Kalyani Priyadarshan played the female lead whereas Jagapati Babu, Satya Krishnan, Ramya Krishna, Ajay, Anish Kuruvilla, Vennela Kishore and Posani Krishna Murali were seen in supporting roles.
On the otherside, Nani will also be seen in sport based drama Jersey, in which Shraddha Srinath is playing the female lead.
