Recently during the media interaction, Nithya Menen opened up about Breath season 2 and said, “Breathe is the first original digital series I am doing. I look forward to this a lot, because this medium is a perfect space for me. Breathe offers me such a large canvas to exhibit myself and my work, and it’s immensely satisfying for the artiste in me. Breathe is being made with high standards and I am absolutely enjoying it.”
The director Mayank Sharma said, “I am very excited as Nithya Menen has joined the cast of ‘Breathe’ season 2. I had always imagined her to portray this part.“
The second season of Breathe starring Nithya Menen and Abhishek Bachchan is currently under production and will be released only on Amazon Prime Video across 200 countries.
Nithya Menen herself has confirmed the news that she is going to make her debut in digital world by sharing a post on Twitter. She wrote,“Officially announcing my digital debut with the Amazon Prime series ‘Breathe’… Season2 ! I remember seeing Season1 hoardings of @actormaddy when the digital medium was still very new to the scene.. I’m so thrilled to be a part of this wonderful series… Having so much fun shooting this.. Probably my most intense performance till date…. And waiting for all of you to see it.”
Breathe is a gritty psychological thriller series which follows lives of ordinary people stuck in the extraordinary circumstances.
Nithya Menen was last seen in NTR Kathanayakudu starring Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidhya Balan, where she essayed the role of Savitri. She will also be seen in Jayalalithaa Biopic and Mission Mangalam.
