Savitramma with Basavatarakam

South Indian beauties Keerthy Suresh, Rakul Preet Singh, Raashi Khanna, Vidya Balan and Pooja Hegde recently attended TRS awards night in Vizag. All the actresses put their best fashion foot forward and had a gala time together as they clicked a lot of photographs. Vidya Balan received the Sridevi Memorial Award.  Vidya Balan also shared a pic of herself with Mahanati fame Keerthy Suresh on her Instagram and captioned it, “Was so happy to meet Keerthy in person.” Keerthy Suresh made sure to thank Vidya Balan for mentioning her. She replied, “Thank you so much Vidya Balan…such mention by you means a lot.”  It is known news that Keerthy Suresh played the role of Savitramma in Nag Ashwin’s directorial venture Mahanati, the biopic of legendary South Indian actress Savitri whereas The Dirty Picture fame Vidya Balan is essaying the role of NTR’s first wife Basavatarakam in NTR Mahanayakudu, which is gearing up for grand release on 22nd February 2019.

It is a treat for all the fans of both beautiful actresses. Well, that’s a picture of reel Basavataram and Savitramma posing together.

Vidya Balan looked beautiful in Indian wear, whereas Keerthy graced the awards night in an elegant sari. She completed her look with gajra and statement earrings.

Meanwhile, the Best Actress Awards have been bagged by Punjabi kudi Rakul Preet Singh for Rarandoi Veduka Chooddam and by Keerthy Suresh for Mahanati.

Nandamuri Balakrishna and Akkineni Nagarjuna won the Best Actors for their films Gauthamiputra Satakarni (2017) and Devadas (2018) at the TSR-TV9 National Film Awards for 2017-18 and 2018-19.

On the work front, Vidya Balan will be next seen in Pink opposite Thala Ajith. The movie is the remake of Bollywood hit film Pink in which Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu played the lead roles.  On the otherside, Keerthy Suresh was last seen in Vijay starrer Sarkar, directed by AR Murugadoss.
