Trisha creating troubles for Samantha

www.tollywood.net has already reported that Samantha Akkineni will be seen in upcoming Telugu movie, the remake of Tamil movie 96, in which Trisha Krishnan and Vijay Sethupathi played the lead role. Samantha will be seen essaying the role of Trisha in this remake and she will share the screen space with young actor Sharwanand. Noted producer and distributor Dil Raju has brought the remake rights of 96 and C. Prem Kumar, who directed the original Tamil film of 96, will direct the Telugu remake too.  Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, all is not well between the director and producer. Differences have cropped up between C Prem Kumar and Dil Raju.

The sources say that  the director C Prem Kumar wants to rope in music director Govind Vasantha who scored the music for the Tamil version of 96 whereas Dil Raju does not want the same music composer for remake. Not only this, Dil Raju is also suggesting a few changes to suit the Telugu audience which the director C Prem Kumar is against. It is heard that the producer wants to make few changes in the character of Samantha, but the director is not ready for this. It means Trisha’s character in Tamil version of 96 is creating trouble for Samantha.

The sources added, “Prem Kumar wants the remake to be exactly like the original version of 96 and doesn’t want to make any changes.”

 Currently Trisha is waiting for the release of her upcoming movie Garjanai, which is in post production stage. Apart from this movie, she will also be seen in Sathuranga Vettai 2, 1818 and Paramapadham Vilayattu.

Trisha starrer 96, was produced by S. Nanthagopal under the banner of Madras Enterprises. On the otherside, currently Samantha is busy in her upcoming movie Majili, in which she will be seen with Naga Chaitanya.

 Samantha will also be seen on O Baby, the remake of Korean film Miss Granny.
