Yatra 1st Day AP/TS Box Office Collections

Yatra Collections: Yatra starring Malayalam star Mammootty, was arrived at the theaters yesterday on 8th February 2019 and received positive response by the movie lovers on its opening day. According to the traders report, Yatra has collected Rs 2.28 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Talangana on its opening day.

The area-wise break up of Yatra (Shares) are  as follows:

Nizam: Rs 60 Lakhs

Ceeded: Rs 43 Lakhs

UA : Rs 16 Lakhs

Guntur : Rs 46 Lakhs

East : Rs 11 Lakhs

West : Rs 16 Lakhs

Krishna : Rs 19 Lakhs

Nellore : Rs  17 Lakhs

Total 1st Day Yatra AP/TS Box Office Collections (Shares) : Rs 2.28 Cr

Malayalam Megastar Mammootty is playing the role of YS Rajasekhar Reddy.  The movie, based on the padayatra of YSR, is directed by Mahi V Raghav of ‘Anando Brahma’ fame.

Not only the Telugu States, but Yatra has also taken decent start at the US box office as well. With the Thursday premiers, Mahi V Raghav’s film has collected $71 k from 130 screens. The producer himself has made own release in the US market.  The trade analyst Jeevi tweeted, “#Yatra collects $71,230 from 130 locations through premieres on 7 February with per location average of $548. Expecting it to pick up from today with good reviews and positive word of mouth.” On its opening day, Yatra raked in Rs 16 lakhs ($ 23,320). With the premiere and day 1 collections, the movie has become Mammootty’s highest grossing film in the US box office.

Yatra is jointly produced by Vijay Chilla and Shashi Devireddy under 70 MM Entertainments.
