Kollywood actor Vijay is likely to play the lead in the Tamil remake of Vamsi Paidipally’ Telugu movie Maharshi starring Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hgede and Allari Naresh. Maharshi is gearing up for grand release on 9th May. It is one of the most awaited movie of this year. Mahesh Babu’ new getup and recently released songs, posters and trailer have already generated good buzz among the movie lovers. Now, here is an exciting update about Vamsi Paidipally’ directorial venture Maharshi. According to reports, the film might soon be remade in Tamil with an A-list star in the lead. The buzz is that Maharshi remake will feature Kollywood star Vijay in the lead, however, this is yet to be confirmed.
Thalapathy Vijay has previous acted in the Kollywood remake of movies like Pokkiri and Okkadu and now it is expected that once again Vijay will act in Tamil remake of Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi. It will be very interesting to see Vijay if he takes up the Maharshi remake as well.
Maharshi’ pre-release event will take place today on 1st May and many feel that it is going to be a grand affair. The movie is produced by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt and Prasad V. Potluri, under the banners of Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies and PVP Cinema.
On the otherside, currently Vijay is busy in his upcoming movie Thalapathy 63, which is being directed by Atlee Kumar and Mahesh Babu is getting ready to join the sets of his next upcoming movie, which will be directed by Anil Ravipudi.
