The young actor Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas, who did not taste success in the film Industry, till date, is now coming up with an upcoming action entertainer Rakshasudu which is a remake of Tamil thriller, Ratsasan. Recently the actor was seen in woman centric movie Sita in which Kajal Aggarwal played the female lead role. Sita, directed by Teja was released on 24th May 2019 and received negative response by the movie lovers and critics on its opening day. Now after Sita, Bellamkonda Sai Srinivas starrer Rakshasudu is gearing up for grand release. The makers have locked the release date of Rakshasudu and it will hit the theaters on 21st June 2019. However, an official announcement regarding this news is awaited.
Rakshasudu is being helmed by Ramesh Varma Penmetsa who has previously helmed ‘Ride’, ‘Veera’ and ‘Abbayitho Ammayi’ and is bankrolled by Satyanarayana Koneru under A Studios banner in hero Havish Lakshman’s presentation. Anupama Parameswaran is playing the female lead in this film. This time Bellamkonda Sai Srininvas is pinning lot of hopes.
Raatsasan was made on a shoe-string budget, in which Vishnu Vishal and Amala Paul played the lead role and the movie went on to gross over Rs 20 Cr at the worldwide box-office.
