Now according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Mani Ratnam has also approached Baahubali and Bhaagamathie fame Anushka Shetty to play the crucial roil. If everything will go accordingly, this will be the first time, when both Anushka Shetty and Aishwarya Rai will be seen sharing the screen space.
The creative and talented film maker Mani Ratnam is all set to bring the best cinematic experience for the audience with a historical drama based on Ponniyin Selvan, a Tamil novel by writer Kalki. It is all about the story of Chola Emperor Arulmozhi. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who has worked with Mani Ratnam in three movies, will be playing one of the female leads in the film. Now according to twitter buzz, Anushka Shetty has been approached by Mani Ratnam ans she will be seen working with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. However, there is no official announcement regarding it.
On the other-side, Anushka shetty will be seen in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer upcoming big budget movie Sye Raa Naraishma Reddy where she is playing the role of narrator. Apart from Sye Raa, Anushka Shetty is playing the female lead in Silence which is progressing in USA.
