Karthi is currently busy in his upcoming movie Kaithi. According to the latest update, on the eve of the release of his brother Suriya‘s NGK on 31st May, the teaser of Karthi’s Kaithi is all set to be released. The teaser of Karthi starrer Kaithi will be out on 30th May, a day before the release of NGK. A second look of the Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial was released yesterday detailing this news. He wrote on the wall of Twitter, “Here’s the next look of @Karthi_Offl’s #Kaithi Teaser from May 30th. @prabhu_sr @itsNarain @sathyaDP @philoedit @DreamWarriorpic @anbariv @SamCSmusic @vivekanandapics”
Karthi starrer Kaithi is directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj of Maanagaram fame and is bankrolled by Dream Warrior Pictures and Vivekananda Pictures, Kaithi has music by Sam CS and cinematography by Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru-fame Sathyan Sooryan.
The movie is shot in and around Chennai and Tirunelveli, and it set for a July release. Reportedly, it is being said, that Kaithi has no heroine. However, Narain, Dheena and George Mariyan among others will be seen in pivotal roles.
Karthi was last seen in a romantic action thriller film Dev, based on a road adventure. The film also had Rakul Preet Singh in the lead role. Apart from them, Karthik, Prakash Raj, and Ramya Krishnan were seen playing supportive and pivotal roles in the film. The movie was just average at the box office.
