Vaishnav Tej, the brother of Sai Dharam Tej is making his debut in Telugu film Industry with an upcoming movie, which has been titled as Uppena. According to the latest update, the makers have approached Manglore beauty Krithi Shetty in Uppena and she will be seen romancing with Vaishnav Tej.
Uppena is intense romantic entertainer to be produced under Sukumar Writings and Mythri Movie Makers banners. The upcoming drama is helmed by Buchi Babu Sana, an erstwhile assistant of Sukumar, who is making his directorial debut with this movie. The sources close to the film unit revealed that the makers have zeroed in on a newcomer for the actress’s role in the village-based drama. And she is none other than Krithi Shetty, who hails from Mangalore. She comes across as a Telugu girl and might just suit the role of a village belle.
Vaishnav Tej is playing the role of a fisherman whereas Krithi Shetty will be seen playing village belle in the film Uppena. Kollywood Vijay Sethupathi is already on the board to play the main antagonist in this upcoming drama.
Sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad will render the tune. Uppena starring Vaishnav Tej and Krithi Tej will be bankrolled by Sukumar and Naveen Yerneni, Y Ravi Shankar, Mohan under the banner of Mythri Movie Makers.
