Maharshi Collections: Telugu Superstar Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh starrer Maharshi, directed by Vamsi Paidipally, which was one of the most awaited movie of Telugu Film Industry, was released yesterday on 9th May 2019 worldwide in a very grand manner. According to the traders report, Mahesh Babu’ 25th film Maharshi has collected Rs 24.25 Cr shares at the box office of both Telugu States- Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on its opening day.
The area-wise break up of Maharshi are as follows:
Nizam : Rs 6.38 Cr
Krishna : Rs 1.40 Cr
Guntur : Rs 4.40 Cr
East : Rs 3.20 Cr
West : Rs 2.46 Cr
Nellore : Rs 1.01 Cr
Ceeded : Rs 2.45 Cr
Vizag : Rs 2.89 Cr

The Pre-booking for the Mahesh Babu starrer Maharshi was solid with tickets getting sold out like hot cakes. Even in centres outside Telugu regions like Bangalore, Chennai etc.
At the USA box office, Maharshi has crossed $660K . The trade analyst Ramesh Bala wrote on the wall of Twitter, “#Maharshi has crossed $660K in the #US.”
Maharshi is jointly bankrolled by Dil Raju, C. Ashwini Dutt, and Prasad V. Potluri through their production companies Sri Venkateswara Creations, Vyjayanthi Movies, and PVP Cinemas. The film has the music by sensational music composer Devi Sri Prasad.
