Mahesh Babu, Pooja Hegde and Allari Naresh starrer Maharshi is winning the hearts of movie lovers and number of celebrities have already showered praises for Vamsi Paidipally’ directorial venture. We have already reported that Maharshi has created Non Baahubali records in few areas but the movie’ collections in Ceded is giving shock to everyone. The distributors are not happy, the way Maharshi is doing collections in ceded.
Maharshi was sold out for Rs 12 Cr to ceded distributor and the movie has to earn at least Rs 13 Cr share to see the profit on its investment. But the collection rate of Maharshi is ceded area is below par. After the run of 5 days, Maharshi has collected Rs 5.80 Cr shares from ceded. The traders are expecting that the movie has potential to earn another Rs 2 Cr by the end of its full time run. It means the ceded distributor will face losses for Maharshi.
Maharshi was released on 9th May 2019 and opened to a good response at the box office. Six days later, the movie is still going strong at the ticket window. Last year, Mahesh Babu had tasted success with Koratala Siva’ directorial venture Bharat Ane Nenu and with Maharshi, he is all set to get his second consecutive hit.
