Jayadev Galla of TDP won against Modugula Venugopala Reddy of YSR Congress in Guntur Lok Sabha constituency. Jayadev Galla received 587918 number of votes while his YSR Congress rival Modugula has got 583713 number of votes.
Polling for the 2019 Lok Sabha election for Guntur Lok Sabha constituency was held on 11th April. This time the battle was between Jayadev Galla of TDP and Modugula Venugopala Reddy of YSRCP.

On the other side, Mahesh Babu is currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Maharshi, which is emerging as a blockbuster at the box office.
