Suriya to play Jagan in Yatra 2?

Malayalam actor Mammootty played the role of YS Rajasekhar Reddy, in Mahi V Raghav’ directorial venture Yatra. The movie received glowing reviews from audiences and critics alike on the release date. Now Mahi V Raghav is coming up with his next upcoming project Yatra 2. It is being heard that Suriya will play the Jagan Mohan Reddy in this film Yatra 2.

Recently director Mahi V Raghav stated that he is planning to make a sequel to Yatra. We hear that sequel will feature Jagan’s journey after the death of YSR. If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, Suriya will be seen playing the role of YS Jagan in Yatra 2.

Suriya was asked about the same when he was in Hyderabad last night. Suiya said, ”I would like to play the role of Jagan anna, but no one has approached me yet.” By this, Suriya hinted that he would like to essay the role of Jagan Mohan Reddy in Mahi V Raghav’ Yatra 2. Now we have to wait and see whether Mahi V Raghav will approach Suriya for Yatra 2 or not.

Suriya is already known to have a close friendship with YSR Congress Party President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is going to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.
