Anushka Shetty is all set to perform his risk stunts in her upcoming film, which will be directed by Gautham Menon. Baahubali fame Anushka who was last seen in Bhaagamathie, and she has stopped signing in for new films in Telugu after the release of the G Ashok directed-film. She had a brief appearance in Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer periodic drama Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, which was a hit. However, recently Anushka Shetty has signed up for a film with Gautham Vasudev Menon, which is going to be an action-packed thriller. Apparently, Anushka Shetty will be performing several risky stunts on her own.
The upcoming film will be made as Telugu-Tamil bilingual and it will go on floors from the month of January. Tamil Bigg Boss fame Abhirami Venkatachalam is on the board to play a crucial role in this yet to be titled movie. The film is expected to hit the screens at the end of the year. Touted to be a female-centric film, it will be based on a novel written by Bollywood filmmaker Govind Nihalani.
Anushka Shetty and Gautham Menon’s film will be bankrolled by Ishari Ganesh of Vels International banner. Gautham Menon’s new film with Anushka Shetty will be a part of a three-film deal signed with Vels Films. Meanwhile, Gautham Menon is busy with Joshua: Imai Pol Kaakhan starring Puppy-fame Varun in the lead roles.
Meanwhile, Anushka Shetty will be seen in upcoming film Nishabdham. The film also has Kollywood star R Madhavan in the male lead. Anushka Shetty will be seen as a mute artist. Directed by Hemant Madhukar, Nishabdham will be releasing in Telugu, English, Malayalam, Hindi, and Tamil on 31st January 2020. Nishabdham is being bankrolled by Kona Venkat and TG Vishwa Prasad under the banner pf Kona Film Corporation in association with People Media Factory.
