SS Rajamouli is currently working with Mega Power Star Ram Charan and Young Tiger Jr NTR for an upcoming multi-starrer RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace. According to the latest update, 80 percent of the shoot has been already completed and the makers are planning to start the post-production work from the next year. There are speculations that RRR may not release as per the schedule. But SS Rajamouli’s latest statement on RRR’ release date has given rise to fresh speculations.
Rajamouli attended the pre-release event of the upcoming thriller, Mathu Vadalara, as Chief Guest, which was held yesterday night. On this occasion, when Rajamouli was asked about RRR’ release date, to which the director replied, Mathu Vadalara’ team itself took 1 year to complete their film. So please don’t ask me about RRR’ release date.”
Recently during the press conference, Rajamouli had revealed that RRR will be released on 30th July 2020 in multiple languages. But this time during the pre-release event of Mathu Vadalara, Rajamouli maintained silence regarding the release date of RRR.
Rajamouli’ RRR is a fictitious tale on two Telugu freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Raju and Komaram Bheem. While Alia Bhatt plays Ram Charan’s pair, Olivia has been roped in as Jr NTR’s pair in the mega-budget drama, which is being bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV entertainment. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn will be making their debut in the south Indian film circuit with this film RRR.
Baahubali filmmaker SS Rajamouli is a perfectionist and always goes through the shots at the end of each day. If he does not like it, he will do a reshoot, but he is one who never ever compromise with the quality of a film. MM Keeravani is on board to compose the music and KK Senthil Kumar is handling the cinematography.
