Nikhil Siddharth and Chandu Mondeti have decided to make mystery thriller Karthikeya 2. Once again the makers have roped Colour Swathi to play the crucial role in Karthikeya 2. The role of Swathi in Karthikeya 2 has been revealed. According to the latest buzz in the film industry, Swathi will be seen playing the role of TV reporter in this film Karthikeya 2, a sequel to mystery thriller Karthikeya.
Chandu Mondeti, who delivered a rather successful directorial debut five years ago with Nikhil Siddharth starrer mystery thriller Karthikeya, has collaborated with the actor once again for its sequel, Karthikeya 2. It is being heard that Chandu Mondeti is planning to rope Anupama Parameswaran in his upcoming directorial venture Karthikeya 2 in which Nikhil Siddharth will play the lead role. The regular shoot is expected to commence from the month of January.
The sources close to the makers revealed that Swathi, who played the main lead in the first part – Karthikeya will be seen as a TV reporter in this film Karthikeya 2. The film Karthikeya 2 is basically a comeback for the entire cast of Karthikeya, not just Swathi. Every character who was there in the first part will be repeated in the sequel as well.
Apparently, the sequel (Karthikeya 2) will start from where the story ended in Karthikeya, which revolved around Subramanya Swamy temple in the village called Subramanyapuram. The temple is shut for unknown reasons and Nikhil Siddharth played the medical student who unravels the mystery surrounding the deaths of people who try to find out the reason behind the temple’ closure.
The makers are planning to shoot Karthikeya 2 in Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and other parts of India. Besides Telugu, Nikhil and Swathi starrer Karthikeya 2 is expected to release in Hindi and Malayalam.
On the other side, Nikhil Siddharth is currently enjoying the success of his recent offering Arjun Suravaram. Nikhil is also doing a film under the banner of Sukumar and Geetha Arts.
