A few years ago, there was a strong buzz in the film industry, that Krishnam Raju will direct Prabhas in a film after SS Rajamouli’ Baahubali. The movie was also titled as ‘Okka Adugu’. But to date, there is no update regarding this project of Krishnam and Prabhas.
‘Okka Adugu’ is a popular dialogue from Young Rebel star Prabhas and Rajamouli’s previous blockbuster ‘Chatrapathi’. The combination of Krishnam Raju and Prabhas had created waves in the industry.
Krishnam Raju has decided to use Prabhas dates and coproducing his film which is being helmed by Radha Krishna Kumar. The movie which has Pooja Hegde in the female lead is tentatively titled Jaan, which is being bankrolled bt Krishnam Raju’ Gopikrishna Movies in association with UV Creations.
Recently, when Krishnam Raju was asked about the shelved project and his directorial plans, he replied, “I can’t direct Prabhas. I’m aged now. I can’t direct a movie for Prabhas.”
Currently, Prabhas is busy in his upcoming film, which is progressing at the brisk pace in Annapurna Studios. A massive set worth Rs 3 crore has been erected to shoot crucial scenes.
As per the latest updates, after wrapping up the Hyderabad schedule, Prabhas20’s team will be flying to Austria where the makers will shoot the few more important scenes and a couple of songs. The Austria schedule will take place in February. More details about the upcoming schedule will be out very soon. This is the first time, Prabhas is working with Pooja Hegde, who has starred in popular Telugu films like Oka Laila Kosam, Mukunda, Duvvada Jagannadham, Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, Maharshi, and Gaddalakonda Ganesh.
Radha Krishna Kumar’s debut film was Gopi Chand starrer Jil, which turned out to be a super hit. According to the latest buzz, Set against the backdrop of Europe, Prabhas will be seen as a palm reader in the upcoming movie.
