If ongoing buzz in media and film industry is to be believed, noted producer and distributor Dil Raju has acquired Nizam Rights of upcoming much hyped big budget film RRR, which is progressing at the brisk pace in the direction of Magadheera and Baahubali fame SS Rajamouli.
The sources close to the team of RRR revealed that the theatrical rights of the Nizam area have been grabbed by star producer Dil Raju. The official confirmation is awaited regarding this. The film has Young Tiger Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles. Alia Bhatt is paired opposite Ram Charan and Olivia Morris will romance with Jr NTR in RRR, which is bankrolled by DVV Danayya under the banner of DVV Entertainment.
Ram Charan and Jr NTR will be seen in the roles of Alluri Seetha Ramaraju and Komaram Bheem, respectively in Rajamouli’ multilingual drama RRR. Irish actors Ray Stevenson and Alison Doody to play the crucial roles in RRR, which is said to be a period flick set in the pre-independence era.
MM Keeravani is on the board to render the tune, while KK Senthil Kumar is handling the cinematography. Rajamouli’ magnum opus RRR will now hit the screens on 8th January, 2021.
On the otherside, Dil Raju’ production venture Jaanu starring Sharwanand and Samantha Akkineni has arrived at the theaters today on 7th February.
