It is known news that Superstar Mahesh Babu will be teaming up with director Vamsi Paidipally for his 27th project, which is tentatively titled SSMB 27. Now, according to the latest buzz in the film industry, Mahesh Babu will be seen playing dual role in the movie. If the reports turn out to be true, this will be the first film that will see Mahesh Babu in dual role.
The sources say that Mahesh Babu will be seen as a gangster and a lecturer in the film. Few are also saying that Vamsi Paidipally’ directorial venture is something along the lines of Kollywood superstar Rajinikanth’s superhit 1995 film Baasha. However, an official confirmation regarding Mahesh Babu’ dual role in awaited.
The pre production work for Mahesh Babu and Vamsi Paidipally’ upcoming untitled film has been started. While the team is busy finalizing the technical crew for the film, S Thaman has been already roped to compose the music. This will be the second time Thaman will be composing music for Mahesh Babu starrer.
The regular shoot of SSMB 27 is expected to commence from the month of April and the makers are planning to wrapped it up in December. It is being heard that Vamsi is planning to rope Shruti Haasan to play the key role in this film. Bollywood beauty Kiara Advani will be seen romancing with Mahesh Babu in this film. SSMB 27 will be bankrolled by Dil Rajun in association with Mahesh Babu. Vamsi Paidipally and Mahesh Babu have come together for the second time for this flick after social drama Maharshi, which was a blockbuster hit.
Mahesh Babu was last seen in Sarileru Neekevvaru, which was directed by Anil Ravipudi of F2 fame. Rashmika Mandanna essayed the female lead. The film also has Vijayashanti, Prakash Raj, Satya Dev, Rajendra Prasad, Bandla Ganesh, Jayaprakash Reddy in crucial roles.
