KS Ravindra alias Bobby, who has delivered back to back hit movies such Jai Lava Kusa and Venky Mama, was planning to team up with Power Star Pawan Kalyan for an upcoming project. Though both have worked together for action and romantic drama Sardaar Gabbar Singh, which was ended up disaster at the box office. Recently when Bobby contacted Pawan Kalyan and discussed about the possibility of a project, Gabbar Singh star rejected the offer. Later Bobby contacted the young and energetic actor Ram Pothineni who made a smashing comeback with iSmart Shankar last year. The sources say that Ram Pothineni is very impressed with the narration and gave his nod to Bobby.

If everything will go accordingly, the official announcement regarding Bobby and Ram Pothineni will be made in couple of months.

Currently Ram Pothineni is busy in the shoot of upcoming film Red, which is slated to hit the theaters on 9th April. The film has Red has Nivetha Pethuraj and Malavika Sharma in the female lead roles. It has the music by Mani Sharma and fights by Peter Hein. Red is the Telugu remake of Tamil movie ‘Thadam’. It is helmed by Kishore Tirumala and is bankrolled by ‘Sravanthi’ Ravikishore under Sravanthi movies banner.
