World Famous Lover Movie Review: World Famous Lover starring the young and happening actor Vijay Deverakonda, Raashi Khanna,  Catherine Tresa, Aishwarya Rajesh and Izabelle Leite, directed by Kranthi Madhav, was one of the most awaited movies of Tollywood. Finally the movie has hit the theaters today on 14th February. On several occasions, Vijay Deverakonda has revealed that World Famous lover is his last love story.

Story: Gowtham (Vijay Deverakonda) wants to become a writer and he ignores  live in relationship with his college love Yamini (Raashi Kanna). Yamini gets depressed and decides to leave Gowtham. He struggles to write stories  but after finding the inspiration, he starts writing. First he writes the story of Seenayya and Suvarna which is set up in Yellandu and later he writes the story of Gowtham and Iza based in Paris. How Gowtham becomes a successful writer and save his love life with Yamini, is what the movie is all about?

Performance: Vijay Deverakonda  sets the screen on fire with his screen presence and performance in three different roles. He is terrific. World Famous Lover shows three different shades from  the young actor Vijay Deverakonda. One of them, reminds us Arjun Reddy. The real surprise package is Seenayya character.   Raashi Khanna who gets full length role, has justified with her role. Aishwarya Rajesh has a de-glamorous role and lesser run time but she steals the show with her performance. Catherine Tresa looks good on the screen but she got limited role. The other lady Izabella Leite is fine. Jaya Prakash, Priyadarshi and others performed accordingly.

Technical:  The story of World Famous Lover is simple and predictable.  Dialogues are noteworthy and touched the audience’s heart.  Gopi Sundar’ music is in tune with the proceedings. Background score is impressive. The cinematography is up to the mark. The director Kranthi Madhav has done a good job as he narrated the film in an entertaining manner.  The editing is just ok. Production values are Very good. The Art direction is first-rate.

Analysis: The main plus points of World Famous Lover is the presence of Vijay Deverakonda and Seenaya and Suvarna’ track. The first half is engaging whereas the second part has few dull moments. World Famous Lover has routine climax. If you ignore the routine story and a slightly dragged second half, the film will entertain you this weekend.
