Rishi Kapoor who had been battling leukemia for 2 years, breathed his last yesterday morning at HN Reliance Foundation Hospital in Mumbai. Prem Rog actor was rushed to the hospital on Wednesday morning after experiencing a breathing problem. The actor had a funeral yesterday evening at the Chandanwadi Crematorium in Mumbai, which was attended by his close family and friends only. A photograph of Alia Bhatt holding the phone standing next to Neetu Kapoor during the funeral went viral on the social media. Alia Bhatt was trolled by the netizens for being insensitive to sentiments of the Kapoor family by using her mobile.
Actually, RRR girl Alia Bhatt was on a facetime call with Rishi Kapoor’ daughter Riddhima who was stuck in Delhi and could not reach there. Alia Bhatt was seen holding the phone to show Riddhima, Ranbir Kapoor performing the funeral customs and rituals before the actual funeral of Rishi Kapoor.
Riddhima could not attend the funeral procession as there are no flights and she could not reach Mumbai in time by road travel.
