Bollywood actor Rishi Kapoor passed away in a Mumbai hospital today. He was 67. Rishi Kapoor who was suffering from cancer, was taken to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation hospital by his family yesterday and today he breathed his last. Rishi Kapoor’ brother Randhir Kapoor confirmed this news, “ Rishi Kapoor is no more. He has passed away.”

Rishi Kapoor is survived by his wife Neetu Kapoor, son Ranbir and daughter Ridhima. In the year  2018, Rishi Kapoor was diagnosed with cancer for the first time. Prem Rog actor returned to India in September 2019 after recovering.

The actor was first admitted to a hospital in Delhi where he was attending a family function. At the time,  Chandani  actor had said that he was suffering from an infection.

Rishi Kapoor’ popular movies are Laila Majnu, Rafoo Chakkar, Sargam, Amar Akbar Anthony, Karz, Bobby, Chandani, Bol Radha Bol and others.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and Prakash Javdekar – Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change and Information andBroadcasting – expressed shock over the actor’s sudden demise.

The news of Rishi Kapoor’ demise comes in a day after ‘Hindi Medium’ actor Irrfan Khan’s death who was admitted to the hospital with colon infection a day before his passing.
