Now according to the latest update, a staff nurse at Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences -NIMS has tested +ive for Coronavirus in Hyd, who has not been on duty for the past 1 month.
The sources said that the IV class employee and a nurse had come in contact with a coronavirus +ive patient recently, in the emergency ward of the hospital, about 20 days ago. The doctors and the urses who attended to the Coronavirus +ive patients have been identified and isolated.
Several health care workers from Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences –NIMS who were involved in treating the +ive Coronavirus patient are in quarantine and undergoing diagnostic tests
A source in the Nizam Institute of Medical Sciences, said, “A contract nurse and a class IV employee have tested +ive after attending to an elderly man who had visited the hospital emergency medicine department a week ago. Later the patient was tested +ive and was shifted to Gandhi Hospital. The sources added that two more staff nurses of the hospital too have tested +ive for Covid-19.
